Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts
The scholarship I received allowed me to attend a week long studio class at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, which is something I would not have been able to do on my own. I chose the "Think Big!" class with Cornel Rubino where we worked on figure drawing with one and two models, worked on three large scale (7ft × 3.5ft) pieces based on our live models, engaged in critiques, and refined our artistic eye. This week taught me a lot, connected me with some amazing artists, allowed me to work much larger than I would've ever even had thought to, and overall was so valuable to me as an artist and person.
